2023 Monster Energy Guam Motocross Championships Round 3

The Guam International Raceway this past Sunday hosted round 3 of the Monster Energy Guam Motocross Championships which was a bar banging day of racing that kicked off just before lunch and kept the high flying action at extreme levels all the way until sunset that evening. It was aonther great day of families coming together at the Guam International Raceway for some throttle twisting fun in the dirt. Unfortunately because the Guam Racing Federation was presented by the Chamorro Land Trust Commission with an eviction that’s giving the many families that use the facility the boot so to speak by the end of May of this year legal motorsports on Guam sadly may be ending for all those families. There is some hope with several of our islands Senators stepping up who expressed their support for the Guam International Raceway and have vowed to support keeping it open and have a authored a bill that could save the race track for all those families. Bill 56-37 has been introduced and Guams motorsports community is taking note on which island leaders choose to support or not. Senators San Nicolas, Quinata, Parkinson, and San Augustine have all been in attendance at the raceway in support of the racers, their families and keeping the Guam International Raceway open for all the islands enthusiasts and stated they would work towards that goal. For those interested in supporting the Guam International Raceway they can go to Guamraceway.com to sign the online petition.

Round 3 racing kicked off at just after 10:30am with a cool ocean breeze and clear sunny weather with the course conditions being perfect for another great day of motocross. With a course that has over twenty years of development and refinement the racers only concern was with going for the best that they each could give out on the course.
