2023 Monster Energy Guam Motocross Championships Round 5

The Guam International Raceway hosted round 5 of the Monster Energy Guam Motocross Championships on Easter Sunday under great conditions for a family day that began with an Easter egg hunt followed by some high energy racing in the dirt. Children of all ages along with adults racing in their respective age and displacement classes each put on a spectacular show for friends and family in attendance.

Round 5 was the last opportunity for racers to fine tune their craft in a competition setting before the much anticipated 40th running of the APL Smokin Wheels Weekend that is scheduled for April 20th through the 22nd. Racers from several countries including the mainland U.S. are set to be compete against Guam and Saipans best motocross riders in the 40th running of the APL Smokin Wheels Weekend.

Although with the CLTC eviction lying heavy on the minds of our racing families the families themselves are all trying to keep positive and with the upcoming APL Smokin Wheels Weekend they hope that our island with realize what a great treasure having a motorsports park is for their island. Bill 56-37 has the support of Senators San Nicolas, Quinata, Parkinson, and San Augustin who have all been in attendance at the raceway in support of the racers, their families and keeping the Guam International Raceway open for all the islands people.. For those interested in supporting the Guam International Raceway they can go to Guamraceway.com to sign the online petition and contact their senators in support of bill 56-37.
